It's Just the Beginning!

Two class until I can go home until Sunday....I am verrrry excited. I plan on sleeping in, doing little homework, over eating, and beginning the Holiday festivities

Despite the post about families can be frustrating, I am looking forward to spending time with everyone :)

The other side of the holidays...

UUUgh so I LOVE the holidays but I won't lie....sometimes I wish it were a little easier between B and I's family.

(Not even beginning to discuss Christmas) but Thanksgiving is coming up and I feel like it's always such an effort to orchestrate whose going where when.

*i know B doesn't read this, but I don't think we need to finalize everything like 3 weeks in advance for a informal Thanksgiving.....but I'll keep that to myself ... they're honestly wonderful people, I love them so much but sometimes I hate being the go between person*

I love having so many families to be welcomed into but grrrr. Had to vent!

Do your families clash during the holidays to (please say i'm not the weird one!!) or are you that family who could be on the front of a LL Bean catalog???

What's Liana's purpose?

I have one more quarter before graduating....exciting/scary/daunting/broke are things i'm feeling right now!

But the main debacle on my mind is either to look for a job or go to law school. Currently I'm looking for jobs so that I have as many options as I can but I had a few interviews and the main question was "what do you want from a job"?

preferably one that pays ;)

Honestly though, I'm not sure!

Do you all have a "job" or do you have something you love doing each day (please give me the hint to find what this is for me and then how to find it if you wouldn't mind haha)

I need to get my butt in gear.....

Am I the only frugle one?

Christmas is upon us and quite frankly I'm trying really hard to brainstorm some crafty/cheap/not tacky gifts that won't cost me a fortune......Am I the only one?

I know so many of you are crafty, what's on your mind for Christmas gifts?

One that I came across on Martha Stewart's website is individual mulling spice sachets which I really love the idea of because you could use them during the holiday season :)

To make one sachet:

6 inch round cheesecloth cut outs
1/2 inch cinnamon stick
1 anise
2 pods cardamom
4 black peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon of cloves

Tie with twine!

Chocolate Cake

B and I went to one of his friend's birthday Saturday night which was a blast and so fun to see them again!!

But I tried a new drink I've never had before and I highly highly recommend it, it was DELISH!!

Chocolate Cake Shot

Frangelico (hazelnut liquor) + Vodka + Lemon Slice

You bite the lemon then take the shot with the lemon juice in your mouth and, no joke, it tastes like chocolate cake. I've heard they even have a yellow cake shot :)

Who needs a birthday cake when you have this!! ;)

Don't get too close

I think I'm getting sick :(

I love having other stuff to do, because i'd rather not take a nap because that would only make things feel better. I'll have to make a run for some DayQuil tomorrow.....and at least I have tomorrow off

For how good I've been about taking my Vitamins and extra Vitamin C this is crap!
